Their doubles are my favorite. But you must be lucky enough to get one, as they sell out quickly. The service of the beautiful owner lady is exceptional. She goes beyond the limits to provide excellent taste and quality of their food. My concern is that they are open only twice a week. I wish they were open more days a week.
This food is so damn good! They just made a loyal customer for life! I cannot eat salty food and I didn’t even have to tell them to cut back. They put so much meat on the tray! I highly recommend the curry chicken! I ordered my food and came back to get it 15 minutes later and it was hot and ready to eat! One of the ladies gave me a pepper blend and it took the taste to a whole another level! No doubt it’s a in house family recipe! Well done! I cannot wait to go back and try their curry goat!
Small quaint place very clean the owner came out and greeted us us. I'm from the New York-New Jersey area there are plenty of Caribbean restaurants there I have eaten in my share of them. My wife had curry chicken, I had the curry goat. Very flavorful and tender. The sides were delicious also. In short if you're looking for a nice Caribbean restaurant with good food a warm friendly staff. Then maybe you should try this place.
The owner Nicole has made Trinidad proud. The food is great, but the most important thing for my stamp of approval was the doubles - amazing! These doubles are the best that I’ve had outside of Trinidad. These doubles bara is made to order, so they are fresh, with the right flavour and the channa is nice and wet, rather than dry clumped up. Nicole is also a charm - extremely friendly and will even help you find Trinidadian ingredients locally. The atmosphere is very relaxed and doesn’t make you feel rushed or uncomfortable. Definitely a break from the hustle and bustle. I’ll drive 2hrs to get the doubles from here.
Trini Quizeen brings the Caribbean to Dover and allows you to experience the delicious food and culture of Trinidad. The food is ALWAYS so good and the service is awesome! A large platter is enough to share for two, but I prefer to have my own If we're in the area and want to grab a bite, we always stop by Trini Quizeen.
My mom and I decided to visit Delaware from Upstate NY. My mom is originally from Trinidad & was craving her country’s food. This was BY FAR the BEST service and food we have eaten in a VERY long time. The woman at the register was so kind and informative. The food was out and ready quickly. We were suppose to have it to go but we didnt even make it out of the parking lot before we finished our food. DELICIOUS !!! Will definitely go back if we are ever in the area.
Best experience! We had no idea what we were getting into as this was the first time we tried carribean food but the owner treated us very kindly. She took time to explain the menu and even provided us samples. We really enjoyed eating here, the goat meat was amazing. We had to take the peanut butter drink to go after we enjoyed the first one so much. Would definitely make sure to stop here again if we make our way into Delaware!
4 veggie Roti was delicious. First time trying trinidad food. The food was fresh and well seasoned- would definitely buy again
